When Cyclones Attack

Tropical Cyclone Yasi has been through north Queensland causing destruction and devastation. I’ve been keeping up to date here, am overjoyed no lives have been lost but know there is more to come in the way of flash floods and recovering from this natural disaster.

Much love to my brothers and sisters (animal, vegetable, mineral and spirit) in north Queensland.

I pinched this from a friend of a friend on Facebook. Couldn’t find the original online. (You can enlarge the image by clicking on it to open in a new window and then using the magnifying tool.)

Weather events have been nuts in QLD lately. Hopefully this is the end of it. No bananas this year…..

This is a very funny pic Spiral, I couldn’t resist and immediately reposted it on Tempo. Thanks for a laugh at a very serious situation.
Hey Tim, I feel your pain..I love my bananas and Ive got no idea what to give the kids when they raid my place.

I liked your post of pics of the QLD floods, thought they depicted the situation well. Let’s pray there won’t be any need to blog on more natural disasters anytime soon!

Kids food ideas – carrots/crackers and dip or dried fruit, nuts (or nut spread depending on age) and cheese.

  3. Glad you weathered the storm in style – with cartoons!
